Boots Haul

Merry Monday!(Yes I can hear your distant grumbles)

So a couple of weeks ago(I've been extremely bad at time keeping, can you tell?)I went to boots and shelled out on a load of new things(leaving my bank account rather empty, oops!).

The first thing I picked up was this Real Techniques Foundation brush. I've read about this line of brushes before and every review has been glowing so I thought I'd give one a try and I am in love with it. I find that this brush gives such good coverage without leaving streaks or making the make up look cakey(can I request this word is added to the dictionary?). The Brush head is so soft and is just so lovely to use on your face. I also find myself using it for my concealer and powder foundation(shock horror I know) and it works perfectly for them as well.

Now, I have been using Soap and Glory Products since I can remember and I still love them as much as I did when I first discovered them. The first thing I chose was the 'Sugar Crush Body Scrub'(the small round tub). This is a mix of small exfoliating beads and sugar in a sort of gel(I promise I'll try and get better at descriptions...). I'm really glad it picked this up as it leaves your skin feeling amazing and it smells so good! It smells sort of like chocolate limes(if you've never had one, why not?!) and sugar and its just so nice!!
The next Soap and Glory item I picked up was the Righteous Butter Lotion. Usually I'm not a big fan of body butters as I find them too watery and messy to use but as this one is in a tube with a pump so its not bad at all. It actually leaves your skin really nice and smells amazing(If any of you have used the flirty floral spray before, it smells like that).
The last Soap and Glory item I bought was the Sugar Crush Body Wash. This is also leaves your skin feeling really great and smells like the scrub (aka amazing).

Now, these are my favourite items that I bought on this haul. I've wanted to try these for ages after watching Tanya Burr's video in which she talks about them(possibly the Ariana Grande inspired make up tutorial but don't take my word on that). So whilst I was in Boots I thought why not and I am so glad that I bought them. I bought the concealer in shade 'classic beige' and the foundation and powder in soft beige. The concealer gives such good coverage and blends so nicely. The Foundation also gives extremely good coverage without being obvious. The foundation has tiny bits of glitter(or something to that effect) and this gives a lovely glow and shine to your face which does actually make you look more awake. The concealer and foundation work wonderfully together even though they are different shades. The powder is a really good way to complete the makeup and just helps it set a little more. It sets on your face well and doesn't go everywhere when you touch your face.

Hope you enjoyed this post, have a lovely week guys,
Freya xxx
