September Blues

September Blues

We all know that feeling, that feeling of dread as the calendar edges towards the 1st of  September. September means many things, things that we all have to face; whether its school or college or work and worst of all we have to face it while the rain and the cold begin to set in. Now if you live in England like me, then you'll know that practically from the 1st of September the rain starts and then doesn't stop until July(if we're lucky) and so September really does seem to be a sad, sad month.
Now with all that being said, I want to point out some of the things there are to love about the Autumn/Winter. I thought of quite a few so I've just given my top 3.

1)Walks through the Autumnal leaves
Autumn brings about the colour change of the leaves and I'm not ashamed to say when the first leaves change, I get rather excited. There's nothing nicer than walking through a forest when the leaves change and seeing all the different colours(I am also a little bit of a nature freak so... yes...).

So as the leaves change; find a forest to walk through, take some friends, take a flask of hot chocolate(no really because you might freeze) and just just enjoy the change.
(p.s I take photo's sometimes so you might see a lot, oh look there's one, there, that's it on the left)

2)Jackets and Jumpers

Now, I don't know if this is some sort of weird obsession or whether everyone has it but I love jackets and jumpers. I happen to be very lucky and have inherited a bunch of jackets and jumpers from my parents and my brother which does mean that everything is over sized but hey, it also means that  have more jackets than I need so I am aware that I have more than I should.  It makes me really sad to see my coats and jackets sitting there all summer and so as soon as it's cold enough to wear one I get a little bit giddy out of excitement.

3) Snow

Okay, so I know that in England we get pathetic snow that is basically just irritating slush, but when it falls properly, it is truly wonderful.
Now I know that a lot of people find snow irritating but how can you not enjoy walking through it in big coats and boots, all nice and snug, just looking at all the lovely snow(If you haven't guessed I have been completely captured by the romanticized image of snow and it makes me very happy)

These snaps are from a few years ago in Epping forest. I did warn you about the photos.

So, I hope I've helped in not making you completely sad about Autumn and Winter and that youre equally excited about the new season.
Also, I'm going to try and start blogging more frequently now, I'm just trying to work out what days work for me so please just bear with me(if there's even anyone there, i could be talking to myself, who knows...)

Have a lovely week everyone,
